Year 6 generated a Linoit using the iPads to help them with this weeks Big Write. We had to write a Recount for Usain Bolt during his 100m Final as part of our auto/biographical literacy unit. There were many fantastic ideas posted and this clearly had an impact on their writing :)

Heart and Lung dissection in 6JD
6JD had the fantastic opportunity to dissect a heart and lungs in order to consolidate their learning about the Human Body. It was great that we were all able to identify all the key features of the organs of which were studied prior to the activity. Year 6 were brave, sensible, mature and were able to carry out the activity with a focus of developing their understanding if the organs.
