Kensuke's Kingdom (book) review by Lewis and Reuben

Our class (6jd) have been reading the book, "Kensuke's kingdom"by Michael Morpurgo over the last couple of weeks, and have now finished reading it. It is about a boy called Michael and his mum, dad, and dog who take a world expedition using a yacht. But Michael and Stella (the dog) fall overboard and get swept up on an island. Our favourite part was when Kensuke told Michael his life story about how he got to the island because it was interesting/intriguing finding out how he arrived at the island.

The book was all about Kensuke an old man and a boy called Micahel.
I enjoyed the storm and the bart at the ending.

Kensuke's kingdom reveiw

Kensuke's  kingdom starts off when everything is fine. Then Michael's parents both get made redundant so they decide to take a yacht journey around the world. Michael's best friend Eddie gave him a football that was their lucky mascot. Then there was a storm when they had travelled half way round the world. The football fell off the side of their boat. Michael falls overboard and so does his pet dog named Stella Artois. Then Michael falls asleep whilst clinging on to his football. He presumes he gets washed upon an island. There was a man on the island to  help him along the way. Kensuke and Michael light a fire to get the attention of the passing by Peggy-Sue, the boat that Michael was traveling the world in. He gets pulled on board and travels away from the island.

What I enjoyed most about Kensuke's kingdom is when Kensuke and Michael reveal their story to each other because it is interesting about how they both got to be on the island.

Kensuke's Kingdom Book Review

Over the past few weeks we have been reading 'Kensuke's Kingdom' by Michael Morpurgo. The book is about a boy called Michael and his dog ( Stella Artois)  who falls overboard of his parents boat ( The Peggy Sue) and gets stranded on an island with a man called Kensuke. Kensuke can summon his Orang-utans by singing. After a few months a group of armed men go onto the island to kill the mother Orang-utans and steal the baby Orang-utans. About a year after, The Peggy Sue found Michael and took him home. However Kensuke stayed on the island to look after the Orang-utans.

6jd has read a book by Michael Morpurgo called kensukes kingdom.My favourite part of the story was when Michael fell out of a boat and woke up on a island. On the island was a old man who lives there and he was there because his war ship got bombed by the Americans.
